WalkTop Update


I've had the WalkTop for a few months now and I wanted to give an update on how its been going.
I can say without a doubt that I still love it just as much! 

I love that I can work while walking on my treadmill especially during these cold winter months in Pittsburgh. Also the amount of work I get done has really been increased which is fantastic to not only getting in exercise. The benefits has been endless and I couldn't imagine not using my WalkTop. 

Here is a interview Q&A I did with the WalkTop company. 

Q: You advocate for natural, healthy living. Is this philosophy what prompted you to become interested in a WalkTop? Can you share some other examples of how you do this in your life? 

    Yes I am a huge advocate for natural, healthy living and this philosophy did prompted me to become interested in a WalkTop. I found myself sitting a lot when I would be working on my blog & social media accounts. This started to trouble me because sitting has been show to be so awful for you. So I thought what if I could walk while I get all my work done. This is when I found WalkTop which was the perfect solution. 

I like to maximize my productivity and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I do this by trying to get the most nutrients & healthy foods in every meal and by getting in the exercise my body needs daily. We also have a mini trampoline that I get on while I watch a TV show. All about multitasking and getting the most out of each day for me.

Q: How often do you use your WalkTop, and for how long? 

I use it almost daily. Anytime I am working on my computer I try to be on the WalkTop. So that means editing photographs, planning out blog posts, writing blog posts, sharing social media, answering emails… all from the WalkTop. I even will do a Netflix show or something from Hulu that I can watch from my laptop while I walk. I would say I use it for 3-4 hours at a time.

Q: What kinds of benefits have you realized since you started using your WalkTop?

Two huge benefits I notice from using my WalkTop are my step count for the entire day has went up 200%. I get in so many steps now and am walking more miles a day than if I didn’t have the WalkTop. Also my productivity is always amazing on the WalkTop. I get so much done and I notice I focus so much more. Both are huge benefits to me. 

Q: What kinds of things do you do while walking and working?

I can do almost anything while I walk now. Watch TV from my laptop, reply on social media, surf the web, answer emails, work on my blog, and listen to music. Its the perfect tool for someone who wants to multitask and be productive. 

Q: What is your advice to those who are hoping to incorporate fitness into their daily life, and to maintain a healthy lifestyle despite a demands in other areas of life? 

Find ways to incorporate them into your demands in the other areas of life. I know I have to work on my laptop and using the WalkTop allows me to do that and fit in exercise. I always am finding ways of combining healthy habits into my work & personal life.
