Google Doodle Contest!

I'm so excited this year to enter my school into the Google Doodle Contest!

I found out about this amazing art contest last year, and knew that this year we had to enter.

The contest opens up on October 19th, so right now we just have the basic idea to go off of.

This year the them of the Google Doodle Contest is: "What makes me....me"

I'm so excited to share my art classes journey creating Google Masterpieces!

Here is the link for the Google Doodle Website

More information on the contest:
For the first time ever, students are invited to use any materials they want to express themselves in a doodle of the Google logo.

This year, we’re asking kids to create a doodle that tells the world “What makes me…me.” Kids have all kinds of things that make them unique, so they can use all kinds of materials to create their doodles, from crayons, to clay, to yarn, to graphic design.

Students in grades K-12 are invited to take part in the 2015 Doodle 4 Google contest. Like all Google Doodles, each doodle must incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e. The winner will also receive a $30,000 college scholarship. The contest is open for submissions on October 19, 2015.
